Zack Gossell

Prior to founding West Hawk Commercial, Zack began his real estate career in 2003 with The Staubach Company in Los Angeles which was the largest tenant only representation firm in the world. During this time, Zack's tenant representation services included market research and expertise; transaction management; lease negotiation, documentation and review; and financial modeling and analysis. Notable national clients that he developed include: International Rectifier, IHOP Corporation, and Adelson Testan Brundo & Popalardo.

In 2004, with a desire to be closer to family, Zack joined Cornish & Carey Commercial Newmark Knight Frank in their Sacramento office. While there he did extensive Tenant Representation work including relocation, disposition, and subleasing of offices. He also spent a significant amount of his time working with local and national landlords where he provided these clients the best opportunity to make deals due to his detailed understanding of the competition and current market trends. He was successful at marketing and leasing for his landlord clients through consistent communication and follow-through with prospective tenants and day to day prospecting of local companies. 

Seeing an opportunity to create a top level commercial real estate firm founded and headquartered in the Sacramento Valley, for and on behalf of Sacramento valley clients, Zack formed West Hawk Commercial Real Estate in the first quarter of 2014. His strong work ethic, professionalism, and attention to detail allow him to provide the highest level of service to his clients. Zack has a strong dedication to his career, works tirelessly to satisfy his clients’ needs, and prides himself on building and maintaining long term relationships.

When Zack is not working, he makes sure to include community involvement in his activities.  Zack served a two-year church mission and assignment in Latin America and speaks fluent Portuguese. He resides with his wife, and four children in Granite Bay.  

Zack earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo and his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from California State University Chico - Suma Cum Laude
